To sleep, perchance to ... no, all I care about is sleep

I do not do well on little sleep. If I can get eight hours, I like to get eight hours. I'm OK with six-and-a-half or seven, but once you start getting below that, it's not a good thing.

Last night I could not sleep. An army of sleep deprivation was marching through my head.

What makes it particularly weird, though, is that I just got some Lortab and that usually knocks me out. Last night I was wired. This morning I feel like I'm having an out-of-body experience.

It's only 7 a.m. and I already want to go back home. God help me.

Last night was 5 and a half for me and I feel oddly well. The strange and annoying part is that I woke up a full hour before the alarm went off. Happens all too often, regardless of how tired I am. My mind perks up and starts thinking about the day ahead before my body wants to get moving. Another problem is that I'm a born night owl and regularly fight going to sleep until I'm forced to. Most nights I see 1:30 at least. So a normal night's sleep is 6 hours or so.

I make up for it on weekends and get a full 8-9 if I can. Plus naps.

Yeah, I tend to catch up on weekends too.

Insomniacs of the world, unite!

When: tomorrow, 2:15 am
Where: the coffeehouse

(w/v - "blare" - yeah, that's really it. I don't even have a punchline half as good as that simple fact.)
